There are over 300 cards divided into categories so that anyone praying can quickly create a unique prayer using God's Word.
The cards teach a vocabulary of Bible phrases like, "let Your kingdom come" and how to use them in prayers. Scriptures are from the NIV except one from the KJV.
To make it enjoyable for the children, there are several game ideas to provide them with a fun, fast-paced learning experience.

Over 300 Prayer Cards
The children earn points for class participation in exercises that help them:
- learn prayer vocabulary words and scripture verses for prayer
- learn how to pray from their heart using the Bible
- gain confidence praying with a microphone
The points they earn for praying translate into rubber stamp footprints on a race banner where they are "running the race keeping their eyes on Jesus."
They may also earn badges for memorizing whole sections of Bible verses (nine at a time). In this race, everyone wins. Children earn thousands of points for just reading the verses into the microphone and even more when they are memorized.

Each week children run
to check the "Race Banner"
At the end of the year, the Children's Prayer Team is honored with a ceremony, t-shirts and a party. Everyone gets one or two certificates and the whole family is invited.
This curriculum is as fun for the teachers as it is for the children.
Ideal Vacation Bible School Curriculum
The Shekinah Kids Prayer Curriculum is an ideal program for a summer Vacation Bible School. The twelve lessons and art projects can be adjusted comfortably for a one or two week VBS. Imagine the delight for both children and parents as they hear the Word of God in prayer!
